The main problem is the tongue.

According to numerous studies, the main problem with bad breath is the tongue. It occupies a large part of the oral cavity and provides an ideal environment for bacterial growth.

Scientists from Japan have discovered that the buildup on the tongue has the greatest impact on the occurrence of bad breath, and it tends to be most abundant early in the morning.

How to get rid of bad breath:

1. Maintaining tongue hygiene

You can clean your tongue with a toothbrush, but a much better solution is using specific brushes that have special grooves made for that purpose.

2. Use dental floss at least twice a day.

This way, you will remove small food particles that get stuck between the teeth and cause bad odor.

3. Drink enough water.

"An insufficient amount of water causes the accumulation of food particles along with bacteria. To get rid of bad breath, it is best to regularly hydrate your mouth.

"Yes, numerous studies and clinical trials indicate that teeth whitening under the supervision of a dentist is safe. In fact, many dentists consider teeth whitening to be the safest procedure in cosmetic dentistry. It is not recommended for children under 13 years of age, pregnant women, and nursing mothers.

To prevent cavities and gum disease, it is important to follow a few key steps in maintaining oral hygiene and overall health.

General Dentistry

  • Free dental examination: Clinical examination of the teeth, gums, and soft tissues in the mouth, early detection and prevention of cavities.
  • Tooth filling with painless anesthesia.
  • Teeth cleaning and polishing: The removal of dental calculus is performed using ultrasonic vibrations that break up and disperse the dental calculus, all with the use of a local anesthetic in the form of a spray, making the entire procedure nearly painless. It is done every 6 months. After the dental calculus is removed, the teeth are polished with a special abrasive polishing paste and brush.
  • Endodontic treatment: Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with treating the nerve and tissues around the tooth root. This treatment aims to save and restore the tooth and prevent the need for an implant or bridge.
  • Simple tooth extractions with painless anesthesia.
  • Protection of teeth from cavities with fluoride treatments.

Aesthetic dentistry

  • Teeth whitening: Teeth whitening can be performed on all patients who are dissatisfied with the color of their teeth. It is carried out using modern whitening gels that contain hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide as active components. These peroxides penetrate the interior of the hard tooth tissues, dissociating into oxygen, which simultaneously whitens the stained substances on the surface of the enamel as well as those that have penetrated the enamel and dentin tissues. The structure of the tooth does not change—the external appearance changes, becoming whiter and brighter.

  • Porcelain Veneers: The most popular aesthetic procedure. Veneers are ultra-thin, custom-made porcelain shells that are bonded directly to the tooth. Porcelain veneers are a rehabilitation tool that usually covers the front surface of the tooth and they represent a cosmetic tool in dentistry.

  • Composite veneers: An ideal smile in just one visit. With minimal or no tooth grinding, achieve a perfect, beautiful, and natural smile.

  • Emax: Lithium disilicate glass-ceramic, from which the veneers are made, provides a natural look. These veneers are long-lasting, and their best feature is their high aesthetics. Porcelain veneers serve for rehabilitation and usually cover the front surface of the tooth.

Prosthetic dentistry

  • Total dentures: Complete replacement of lost teeth.
  • Partial denture: Reconstruction of multiple missing teeth while some natural teeth are still present.
  • Porcelain crowns: Fixed prosthetic restorations made of metal-ceramics that will replace the natural tooth to achieve better aesthetics and function.
  • Zirconia crowns: Fixed prosthetic restorations made of zirconia that achieve a perfect smile, high aesthetics, and a natural appearance. We perform the scanning with a professional 3D scanner.

X-ray diagnostics

  • Digital radiography with 2D technology for imaging the upper and lower jaw and TM3.

Orthodontics

  • Traditional orthodontic braces made of stainless steel that contain metal brackets.
  • Porcelain brackets made of ceramic or composite materials in tooth color are less noticeable and offer an aesthetic option.
  • Removable dentures for the traditional method of teeth alignment.
  • Invisalign represents invisible orthodontic aids for achieving straight and highly aesthetic teeth.

Oral surgery

  • Implants: Dental implants are titanium structures that are placed into the jawbone and serve as a replacement for the root of the missing tooth.
  • Complex and difficult extractions.
  • Apicoectomy: An apicoectomy is an oral surgical procedure in which the tip of the tooth root is removed. Along with the tip, the existing pathological process, such as an infection, granuloma, or cyst, is also removed.
  • Frenulectomy: Frenulectomy is an oral surgical procedure involving the resection of the lip frenum, which is attached too high on the gingiva. If not addressed, it can lead to separation of the teeth, gum recession around the teeth, and other complications. The procedure is painless and brief.
  • Impacted/partially impacted teeth: Impacted or partially impacted teeth are teeth that have not erupted, meaning they are retained in the bone, and their eruption is hindered due to lack of space, obstruction by other teeth, changes in the bone, improper positioning of the teeth themselves, or various childhood diseases.
  • Cystectomy: A cystectomy is an oral surgical procedure that involves the removal of a cyst, which, if left untreated, progressively grows and destroys the surrounding bone.
  • Sinus lift: A sinus lift involves raising the floor of the sinus cavity and placing an appropriate graft or artificial bone.
  • Bone and soft tissue augmentation: Filling the deficit in bone volume with artificial bone, membrane, etc. This creates the conditions for placing an implant and tooth.
  • Leveling of the bone ridge: Prosthetic-surgical procedures where bone irregularities of the jaw are removed, which could be painful when placing a full or partial denture.

Botox

  • Botox is a natural protein derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, which was initially used in medicine to treat internal neurogenic diseases. As a blocker of the nerve impulse from the brain to the target muscle tissue, it was soon discovered that it can be very effective in treating wrinkles that appear on the face and neck. Its function is to relax the facial muscles, thus reducing or eliminating wrinkles that appear due to the movement (expression) of those muscles.
  • The treatment is simple and quick, and the effects are visible within 7 days of application. It is a minimally invasive method that does not require special conditions or post-treatment care, and the effects of the method last for months. The procedure involves gentle injections into the delicate muscle bundles of the face and the application of very small doses of Botox solution, with the worst potential side effect being a small bruise due to individual variations in each person's anatomy.
  • In addition to wrinkles, Botox is also indispensable in the treatment of excessive sweating under the armpits, on the palms, and on the soles of the feet. Additionally, Botox is excellent in the treatment of migraines, where application in the muscles of the skull can significantly reduce pain and discomfort.
  • Botox is the best solution for those who have pronounced facial gestures throughout the day, causing facial expression wrinkles to become very pronounced and deepen over time. With Botox, deep wrinkles are significantly smoothed out, and the appearance of new wrinkles on the face is prevented, giving the face a brighter, refreshed, and youthful appearance. Early application of Botox significantly affects the prevention of wrinkle formation. Over the years, if this treatment is not used, wrinkles deepen and cannot be healed or significantly and permanently reduced with cosmetic products.
  • Contraindications for the treatment would include any local processes present at the injection site (infections, malignancies, etc.). Otherwise, it is completely safe and does not even affect pregnancy. The method is recommended to be repeated every few months (4-6 months) due to the transient nature of Botox's effects.

Hyaluronic fillers

  • Hyaluronic fillers are a gel form of hyaluronic acid that is injected into the skin to replenish the amount of hyaluronic acid that naturally diminishes over time. This significantly improves the quality of the skin, its hydration, and nourishment, allowing the skin to better withstand daily fatigue and stress.
  • They are the best solution for correcting signs of aging on the face in a minimally invasive way by filling in fine lines and wrinkles on the face, as well as offering a safe, non-surgical treatment to address facial deformities and reduce skin scars. They can be used on different types of skin.
  • The treatment is safe, and allergic reactions are almost impossible because hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin. The most common reasons clients seek this treatment are:
    * Correction of signs of the aging process by filling in fine lines or deep wrinkles on the skin
    * Achieving a better aesthetic effect by contouring the face, refreshing the eye area, shaping, contouring, and increasing the volume of the lips, modeling the lower jaw and chin, etc.
    * Correction of asymmetry in parts of the face
    * Non-surgical correction of facial deformities
    * Non-surgical treatment of skin scars resulting from injuries or certain medical conditions
  • Hyaluronic fillers are the best solution for those who want to remove fine lines or deep wrinkles on the face, correct certain aesthetic imperfections, refresh a tired appearance, and address unwanted facial deformities without surgical intervention.
    The treatment consists of injecting hyaluronic filler directly into the skin in small quantities, using very small and thin needles. The treatment is simple, safe, and painless and typically takes from 10 to 30 minutes. The effect achieved is a tightened, fresh, and hydrated appearance of the skin. The fillers fill in the volume of skin folds, causing wrinkles to completely disappear. The skin becomes smooth, restoring the youthful structure of the face, which makes you feel younger and more comfortable.
  • "The results are visible immediately after the application, and you can return to your regular activities the next day with minimal visible traces of the procedure. It is recommended to avoid hot treatments, including hot baths, saunas, spas, and tanning beds in the next few days.
    The duration of the effect is from 6 to 12 months. Depending on the degree of skin damage at the initial application of fillers, as well as the timely start of this treatment, the effects may last even longer, up to 1 to 2 years after the initial application.
  • When are hyaluronic fillers not recommended
    * Pregnancy and breastfeeding
    * Dermatological diseases
    *Visible changes in the skin in the injection area
    * Viral and bacterial skin infections
    * Active herpes infection
    * Infectious diseases
    * Immunodeficiency diseases
